Physicochemical properties : light yellow monoclinic needle or leaf crystal. There is an unpleasant smell. Solubility (g/100ml) at 25 ℃: 2.0 in ethanol, 1.0 in ether, 10.0 in acetone, 1.0 in benzene, less than 0.2 in carbon tetrachloride and less than 0.5 in crude gasoline. Soluble in alkali and alkali carbonate solution, an appropriate amount soluble in glacial acetic acid, almost insoluble in water. The relative density is 1.42. The melting point is 180.2 ~ 181.7 ℃ (170 ~ 175 ℃ for industrial products). Toxic.
