Purpose: biochemical research. In vitro, the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of spiramycin against Staphylococcus aureus was 0.39mg/ml, the mic against pneumococcus, hemolytic streptococcus and grass green streptococcus was 0.1-0.2mg/ml, and the mic against diphtheria bacillus was 0.04mg/ml. It also has certain antibacterial effect on Mycoplasma and chlamydia.
